Timeless Craftsman Bathroom Transformation
This project involved the complete renovation of three bathrooms in a historic St. Paul craftsman home. Our primary challenge was maximizing the small, sloped space of the second-floor primary bathroom to include both a shower and a freestanding tub. Through creative design solutions, we utilized every inch of space, incorporating custom cabinetry, Carrara marble, and classic black walnut finishes.

On the main level, we updated a charming bathroom, maintaining its original arch while refreshing the space with new tile, lighting, and a pop of green wainscoting. The lower level underwent the most dramatic transformation, converting an unfinished utility room into a functional bathroom and laundry combo with a large shower, modern finishes, and smart storage solutions. This project beautifully balances the preservation of the home’s historical character with the addition of modern amenities, providing a timeless and functional retreat for the family.
