WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF WORKING WITH INTERIOR IMPRESSIONS?
Get started by contacting Interior Impressions via email ([email protected]), calling our showroom at 651-337-2184, or filling out an online inquiry form. After meeting with you at your home, learning about your needs and style, we will develop a design agreement based on your needs and budget. Then we do the fun part – designing your space(s) with you and your family in mind. We will present several design options for your input and approval. Based on your selections, our team will specify, order, track and inspect your products (sofas, tables, artwork, lighting, etc.) upon delivery, coordinate installation, and manage any issues that may arise. Artwork is hung, decor is thoughtfully placed, rugs are rolled out – it’s time for you to enjoy your new space!

WHEN SHOULD I HIRE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER?
You should hire an interior designer at the beginning of your project. From the start we can develop a design plan including layout, lighting and electrical, plumbing, and finishes so there is a strategy for hiring tradespeople for completion. Hiring an interior designer at the beginning will save you time, and ultimately money, on your project with the right programming in place.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR PRODUCTS FROM?
We have relationships with a variety of vendors we are proud to work with and source from to provide custom, high quality products for our clients. Through these to-the-trade vendors we can create custom one of a kind sofas, chairs, tables, lighting, artwork, etc. tailored for your space. This access is why interior designers are hired: to design creative spaces and solutions customized to a home or business.
DO I HAVE TO MAKE PURCHASES THROUGH YOU?
We absolutely respect homeowners’ capabilities to shop for themselves and no, you do not have to buy through us. To elaborate more on the reasons above as to why hire an interior designer, we have extensive knowledge and experience with products and materials to help you choose the best pieces for your home in the long run. We source products from trusted vendors that are well made and durable. With access to extensive unique products, your home won’t have the same pieces all your friends and family have in theirs. If you come across a piece you love, buy it! It’s your home, and we’re here to help make it the best it can be for you.
HOW DO I DETERMINE A REALISTIC BUDGET FOR A PROJECT?
When we draft a design proposal for your project, we will also create a suggested budget with price ranges for each item. Our clients love this because oftentimes they have no idea how much to expect. It also ensures that we are on the same page with price ranges before we get started on searching for the perfect pieces for your home.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY PROJECT?
Each project is unique, meaning each timeline is unique. Even seemingly simple renovations can take several months to complete. For reference, you can estimate a kitchen or bathroom renovation to take six-eight months from selections to completion, a room refresh with custom furnishings to take four-six months from selections to installations. Two factors that can really speed your project along is decisiveness and communication. We respect the seriousness and thoughtfulness required for your home, and we will only source products and materials that are right for your space – so you only need to choose the option that is more you.
CAN YOU FACILITATE FINDING & HIRING TRADESPEOPLE FOR ME?
Absolutely! Sometimes the most difficult part of a remodeling project is finding good tradespeople to do the work. How do you know if they are reputable, honest, trust-worthy and fair priced? We take our trades relationships very seriously and only recommend people we have years of experience with and have complete confidence in their work. We understand that our referrals are a reflection of our company, so Interior Impressions will only give you the best!
