There are moments in business that feel big… and then there are moments that feel defining.
Last night was one of those for our team.
We attended the ASID awards as entrants for the very first time, not entirely sure what to expect—but hopeful, proud, and excited to be in a room surrounded by some of the most talented designers in the industry.
What we didn’t expect?
To walk away with recognition for every single project we submitted—and to top it all off with Best in Show for Commercial Design.
We’re still pinching ourselves.

Why This Meant So Much
The ASID awards hold a unique level of significance in the design world. These projects aren’t judged by the public—they’re evaluated by fellow designers. Industry professionals who understand the layers behind what we do every day. The decisions that aren’t always obvious. The problem-solving. The balance between beauty and function. The countless micro-decisions that ultimately shape a space.
To be recognized by peers who truly understand that process makes this honor feel incredibly meaningful.
It’s one thing for a space to look beautiful.
It’s another for it to be acknowledged by those who know what it takes to get there.
The Projects That Took Home Honors

This year, we were honored across both residential and commercial categories—something that feels especially reflective of how we work as a studio.
Our commercial project at American Family Field, X-Golf was awarded First Place in Commercial Hospitality, and ultimately named Best in Show for Commercial Design—a moment that came with a trophy we will proudly display for years to come.
On the residential side, our St. Paul Craftsman Bathroom received First Place for Bathrooms 100 square feet and under, a project that perfectly blends thoughtful functionality with timeless character.
Our Skyline Spectacular project was recognized in two categories, earning First Place for Residential Multiple Rooms (1,000–3,000 sq ft) and Second Place for Residential Bedroom Suite, showcasing the depth and versatility of the design throughout the home.
And our Rivertown Remodel received Second Place for Residential Use of Color, a project that celebrates bold, intentional design choices in a way that still feels livable and timeless.
A Reflection of Our Work—and Our Clients
At Interior Impressions, we’ve always believed that great design starts with how a space functions and ends with how it makes you feel. Every project we take on is deeply personal—not just for our clients, but for our team as well.
These awards are a reflection of that process. Of collaboration. Of trust. Of clients who allow us to push creative boundaries and bring their vision to life in ways that feel both elevated and deeply livable.
Our First Time… and Definitely Not Our Last
To say we’re honored would be an understatement.
To say we’re motivated would be even more accurate.
Entering the ASID awards for the first time and receiving this level of recognition is something we don’t take lightly. It fuels us to keep refining, keep creating, and keep raising the bar for what thoughtful, intentional design can be.
We’re so grateful to our team, our clients, and our partners who make work like this possible.
And we’re just getting started.
