Over a year ago, we shared the transformation of the club level at Grand Casino Arena—a large-scale project that completely reimagined how the space functions, flows, and feels.
At the time, there was one area that hadn’t quite had its moment yet.
The Wild Lounge.

Now, we’re excited to finally share it.
While this space was always part of the overall vision, we recently had the opportunity to get it fully photographed—capturing the final layers that bring the design to life and complete the story of the club level transformation.
BEFORE

Originally, this area felt open but undefined. It had the benefit of natural light and square footage, but it lacked a sense of purpose. It didn’t draw people in or encourage them to stay. It was simply… there.
From the beginning, we knew this space had the potential to become something more—a destination within the arena. A place that could hold its own while still feeling connected to the larger experience.
The vision

The transformation started from the ground up—literally. Updating the flooring was one of the most impactful moves in redefining the space. By introducing a warm wood tone, we were able to instantly shift the atmosphere away from institutional and into something that feels more hospitality-driven. It adds warmth, movement, and a sense of cohesion that carries throughout the lounge.
From there, the design focused on creating a stronger identity through contrast. Darker architectural elements were layered in to ground the space, allowing the natural light and surrounding views to feel even more intentional. That balance between light and moody tones creates a depth that simply wasn’t there before.
After

Lighting was a key part of that transformation. Sculptural fixtures overhead bring movement and energy, while softer, more intimate lighting moments help define seating areas and create a sense of comfort. It shifts the space from something purely functional to something experiential.
Furniture was another key piece of the transformation. The goal was to move away from scattered, disconnected seating and instead create intentional groupings that invite conversation. Lounge seating anchors the space, giving it a more residential feel, while surrounding tables and chairs allow for flexibility depending on how the space is being used. It’s comfortable, elevated, and designed to support everything from casual gatherings to more structured events.
Material selections throughout strike that balance between durability and refinement—able to handle the demands of a high-traffic venue while still feeling warm, layered, and thoughtfully designed.

And then there’s the moment that ties it all together—the lounge signage. Set against a bold backdrop, it gives the space a clear identity and creates a focal point that immediately draws your attention.
Today, the Wild Lounge serves as a VIP area within Grand Casino Arena—designed to flex between game day energy and private events. It’s a space that invites people to gather, settle in, and stay awhile.
Because sometimes, the spaces that take a little longer to reveal are the ones most worth the wait.
