At Interior Impressions, we’re all about creating spaces that feel warm, inviting, and inspiring. So naturally, our own showroom should reflect that same energy! In 2024 we gave our space a major facelift, and we’re beyond excited to share all the details with you. If you’ve visited before, you’ll notice some big changes, and if you haven’t yet – now’s the perfect time to stop by and see what we’ve been up to!
A Warm Welcome Right at the Door
One of the first things you’ll notice when you walk in is that our showroom manager’s desk is now right at the entrance. We wanted to create a more welcoming and intuitive experience for our visitors, making it clear where to go first. This small but impactful change means you’ll always be greeted with a friendly face the moment you step inside. Plus, our showroom manager is loving the move—it gives her a little more privacy to manage accessories, juggle paperwork, and keep things running smoothly (without having to worry about anyone catching a glimpse of her ‘desk mess’!).

A Flooring Upgrade That Makes a Huge Difference
Let’s talk about our floors—because we are absolutely obsessed with them! We swapped out the polished concrete for beautiful luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, and it has completely transformed the space. The new floors add so much warmth and character, making the showroom feel more comfortable and inviting. But let’s be real, getting to this point wasn’t exactly glamorous. Removing the old glue was a tough job (and let’s just say, the smell was unforgettable—our neighbors even commented on it!). With masks on and determination in full force, we powered through, and now we couldn’t be happier with the results.

A Fresh Take on Furniture Displays
We’ve reimagined the layout of our showroom to better highlight the furniture pieces we love and frequently recommend to clients. We’ve set up new vignettes that showcase key pieces in real-life settings. Whether you’re looking for a cozy living room setup or the perfect statement chair, you’ll now find inspiration around every corner. We also made sure to create plenty of space for accessories and décor, so you can see how small details can truly elevate a space. We love how the new setup feels – so much more dynamic, interactive, and fun to explore!
Organization: Our Favorite Pastime
If there’s one thing we love, it’s a well-organized space (seriously, label makers are our best friends!). With this renovation, we took the opportunity to refine our sample storage system, making it easier than ever to find and showcase materials from our trusted brands. Now, everything is neatly labeled and thoughtfully arranged, making the selection process smoother and more enjoyable for both our team and our clients. There’s something so satisfying about knowing exactly where everything is, and we’re loving the newfound sense of order.
Expanding Our Selections Space for a More Hands-On Experience
One of the biggest changes we made was eliminating Amy’s unused office and breaking down a wall to create a more open and functional selections area. Now, this space seamlessly connects with our conference room, giving clients a more interactive role in the design process. If there’s ever a selection that doesn’t quite fit their vision, we can quickly pull out alternatives and make swaps on the spot. This change has made our design meetings so much more engaging, and we love how it fosters collaboration and creativity!

Showcasing Beautiful Craftsmanship with Built-Ins
We also made a big change where the water fountains used to be—out with the old, in with stunning built-in cabinetry! Not only is this a much more functional use of the space, but it also gives us a chance to showcase the incredible craftsmanship of one of our favorite cabinet makers. We chose a gorgeous white oak finish with reeded cupboard faces, and the end result is both practical and beautiful. It’s the perfect blend of storage and style, and we love having a dedicated spot to display some of our favorite pieces.
A Little Bathroom Glow-Up
Even our showroom bathroom got some love! We gave it a fresh new look by swapping out the wallpaper, painting the tile, and upgrading to a stunning marble-top vanity. The updates might be subtle, but they’ve made such a difference in brightening up the space. Now, every little corner of our showroom feels polished and cohesive, right down to the bathroom.

Celebrating with Our Clients
What’s a big makeover without a celebration? To mark the occasion, we hosted a Client Appreciation Party to show off our new look – and what a night it was! We had crafted cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of great conversations. We hosted a flower bar with a professional floral arranger to help guests make beautiful arrangements, and had live music to add to the fun! It was the perfect way to share this exciting transformation with our amazing clients and friends. Seeing everyone explore the updated showroom and hearing their reactions made all the hard work feel even more worthwhile.
