As we wrap up another year, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the challenges, successes, and unforgettable moments that shaped 2024 for Interior Impressions. The year started with higher interest rates, a sluggish economy, and a significant slowdown in new construction that impacted our pipeline until mid-summer. However, the latter part of the year brought a resurgence of activity, keeping us energized and grateful for the incredible clients and projects we had the privilege to work on. As we always say, “Quality over Quantity,” and this year truly exemplified that philosophy.

Life at Interior Impressions
Our team’s personal highlights added a special touch to the year.
Amy loves her role as “Mimi” to granddaughters Millie (4) and Joni (11 months) and continues to enjoy boating on the St. Croix River in the summer with her husband, Tad. This past year, Amy took trips to California, Round Top Texas, Las Vegas, & Nashville. She looks forward to 2025 adventures, including Costa Rica, a BVI catamaran trip, and an annual High Point Market visit.
Kierstyn enjoyed lots of quality time and creating memories as a family of three this year. Camping trips, baseball games, and celebrations with family and friends were highlights, including G’s first birthday.
Danielle welcomed a new addition to her household: Ludo, a German Shepherd-Siberian Husky mix rescued from Coco’s Heart. Now five months old, Ludo loves snuggles with his mom.
Andrea cherished time spent with family and friends, grateful for a year filled with love and laughter.
Megan traveled extensively, including a cross-country road trip to Alabama Shores. Life was also filled with kids’ sports and the beginning of a main-level renovation that took her kitchen down to the studs, with completion expected in early 2025.
Denise, our accountant, keeps our books and finances in order, as she has since for over 10 years now. In her spare time, Denise loves reading and hiking.
New Milestones
This year, we hosted our first-ever team retreat in October. The retreat took us to Minnesota’s scenic North Shore, where the team bonded over activities like agate hunting, enjoying delicious meals, and gathering around cozy fires. Highlights included visits to Gooseberry Falls, Black Sand Beach, and the New Scenic Café. It was a rejuvenating experience that strengthened our team spirit and creativity.
Another major highlight was the showroom renovation, a project that required months of not only planning but physical labor! From the new flooring, assembling cabinets to updating the layout, every detail was meant to create a space that reflects our design philosophy. In November, we celebrated this achievement with a showroom ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by partners and community members. We also celebrated by hosting a client appreciation party, which was a resounding success with live music, a dried flower bar, crafted cocktails, and chef prepared hors d’oeuvres. Seeing so many familiar faces come together to celebrate with us was truly heartwarming and a reminder of the relationships that make our work so fulfilling.
Looking Ahead
As we turn the page to 2025, we carry immense gratitude for our clients, partners, and team members who made this year so memorable. We wish you good health, love, laughter, and a cozy home filled with cherished memories. Here’s to another year of creating spaces that inspire and delight!
