Everyone, meet our newly hired interior designer, Maia Kline! We are ecstatic to have her as an addition to Interior Impressions on our design team. From her knowledge in interior design, to her love for her family, to her gumption to grow each and every day, we’re blessed to know Maia. Read along to get to hear about her life inside and outside of Interior Impressions!
1. Name & role in the company
Maia Kline. I’m an interior designer here at Interior Impressions.
2. What are three words that would describe you?
Caring. Creative. Homebody.
3. What does a typical day look like for you?
Have my cup of coffee and morning cuddles with my daughter, then go to Interior Impressions to work on everything related to our fun projects! Once I get home from work I go on a stroller walk with my husband, cook dinner, and then take it easy watching our favorite Netflix shows.
4. What are three habits that you have that you attribute to your success?
I’m a team player — I have the skill to support others while also taking a leadership role when needed.
Thinking outside the box — I always find a creative solution to any problem I face.
Detail-oriented — I always fine-tune the small details.
5. what was Your path to working at Interior Impressions?
I studied Interior Design at the University of Minnesota. During college I had the opportunity to start my career in Interior Design, now at Interior Impressions, I have the gift of learning from and working with Amy, Kierstyn, and Haley on their unique ideas, styles, and experiences.
6. What’s a goal you have for yourself that you hope to accomplish in the next year?
My goal for the next year is to continue to grow as an interior designer and to design and create spaces and homes that our clients love.
7. Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my mom, Natasha, who was and continues to be a strong woman, working mom, and leader by putting her heart into everything she does.
8. What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy the small moments of hanging in the backyard playing with my daughter, Edwina, husband, Tulley, and pups, Humphrey and Winnie.
9. What is one piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
Be patient and live in the moment! Continue to work hard and everything will come together. Enjoy each day and lean into the unknown.
10. How do you want to be remembered?
I want to be remembered for giving everything my all and bringing positivity. I want to be remembered as someone who truly cares, and as someone who helped create beautiful, comfortable, and natural spaces.
It was a joy to hear more about new designer, Maia! We are truly blessed to have her on the team. We can’t wait to see all of the pretty designs that she helps to curate!
