It’s no secret that bathrooms are one of our favorite places in a home to design. Our most-loved projects came with their own unique challenges, layout reconfigurations and finished design elements that bring a wow-factor. Let’s go through our round-up!
1. forest lake remodel
This owner’s suite bathroom was by far the most challenging layout we’ve had to redesign to-date. The original bathroom had an awkward, unfunctional layout including a non-private toilet area, two separate vanities with one being in a hallway leading into the main bathroom and outdated everything. We took on the challenge and the end result is just incredible!

After many reconfiguration drafts, we landed on the gorgeous design and layout that this bathroom is today! The feel of this new space is now fresh, modern, nature-inspired and features a walk-in shower that runs the length of the bathroom. Our favorite part is the architectural teak wood feature wall. It adds a beautiful, modern focal point and acts like a piece of artwork in the room. Read more about this bathroom’s makeover on the project reveal blog.
2. a Gardener’s Retreat
This bathroom was bulky, outdated and didn’t fit the elegance of our client’s aesthetic and personality. We agreed that she needed a place that was fresh, bright and beautiful. We demo’d everything from the bathroom to create a blank slate and got to work!

We added space by replacing the previous built-in tub with a freestanding bath, and a whole new walk-in shower with glass panes. To add personality and elegance, we implemented the wallpaper, woven shade and a gorgeous chandelier over the bathtub. The end result is a dramatic difference from where we began! 3. Amy’s abode
Amy, the owner and principal designer of Interior Impressions, took her primary bathroom to a new level. When she and her husband purchased their home, they knew they wanted to remodel and make it their own. The original bathroom lacked personality, and was dark and uninviting. Amy used her design expertise to completely makeover this space.

Fresh, light, bright, all of the good things! Amy added all new tile to the floor, tub deck and surround, and shower floor and walls. She even tiled the bathroom floor herself! She also painted all of the trim, replaced the doors for a new modern touch and so much more. Check out the project reveal blog to read more about it!
4. Glam with a french twist
This. This. This! You’d never even know this was the same bathroom. From the corner vanity, to the built-in jetted tub, to the non-private toilet space. Amy and her design team took this outdated look and layout, and transformed the space to be the stunning owner’s suite bathroom that it is today.

The brass, the crystal, the marble and that swoon-worthy clawfoot tub. It all makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into a glam Parisian home. If this were our bathroom, we’re not sure we’d ever leave. Just an incredible transformation! Read more about the space on the project reveal blog.
5. hidden lake haven
Needless to say, this bathroom needed a revival and was overdue for an update. From the beige square tiles, to the dated light & plumbing fixtures, to another built-in tub, we wanted to give this space a facelift and the owner’s a bathroom they loved!

So much better! Joyful, bright and airy. Again, proof that freestanding tubs reign over all. The gold plumbing fixtures add a hint of glam without being too overpowering, and the gray porcelain (that look like marble) floors bring in a modern vibe. And the shower? Just beautiful. Once again, one of our favorite bathroom transformations to-date! Read more about this bathroom’s transformation over on the project reveal blog.
We’ve been blessed to revitalize countless of other primary bathrooms, powder bathrooms and guest bathrooms. Which one on this list was your favorite transformation?! We’d love to hear in the comments below.
