Minnesotans are known for jet-setting into warmer climates during these winter months. Most of us probably have our travel plans already set for the spring break season, but this list is full of hotels that you’ll have to put on your travel bucket lists for your future vacations! The best part? They are swoon worthy when it comes to their design features. Lets get to it!
86 cannon – Charleston, South Carolina
Once a private, three-story residence that has now been turned into a 16 room boutique inn with gorgeous design features throughout. It’s nestled in the heart of Charleston and hosts rooms with varying designs and amenities such as balconies, canopy beds and marble sinks. We love the numerous wallpapers used throughout the hotel as well! When you’re ready to explore, enjoy their adorable bikes that guests are free to use to roam the city. Bonus: you’re greeted with champagne upon check-in and you’ll be able to enjoy a nightly wine and cheese pairing happy hour.
UNICO – Riviera Maya, Mexico
If you’re looking for an all-inclusive stay that’s beautifully designed, Unico is it. The entire resort – including the rooms and suites – is designed with the local culture in mind, but elevated with modern and rustic touches. For an added dash of relaxation, be sure to unwind at the resort’s spa and enjoy the many luxury cuisine options on-site.
The Scott Resort – Scottsdale, Arizona
A hint of Havana in the heart of Scottsdale, you’ll feel like you’re in the midst of the Caribbean, but only a jog away from seeing cactus. This hotel is oozing with timeless Cuban tropical design and we’re here for it. The best part of this resort? It has a pool with a sandy beach walk-in and cabana rentals for some stylish shade. We love that this resort truly makes you feel as though you’ll never need to leave. Be sure to grab a cocktail at The Canal Club located just inside the lobby.
Hotel ZaZa – Austin, Texas
In our opinion, there’s no other place in the U.S. where you’ll find such eccentric and fun designed hotels than Austin. Austin is weird, wild and a dash of honkytonk. Hotel ZaZa features a mix of both retro and earthy designs and it just works. We love the fun headboards in the all king-sized bed rooms, and the luxurious candlelit turndown service that you’ll be able to enjoy every evening. On those warm Texas days, grab a seat by rooftop pool.
RSVP MOTEL – BOZEMAN, MONTANA
“Hotel, Motel, (better than a) Holiday Inn.” This old motel has been completely made over into the adorable place it is today. No detail was overlooked in the design choices of this place! It’s been made whole with its very own pool, a cafe with farm-to-table dishes and a music venue right next door. Bring your fur babes and enjoy a stay in this quaint mountain town motel!
What places do you know of that didn’t make our list? We’d love to hear your suggestions so we can make a pit stop at your favorite places, too! Wishing all of you travel bugs safe trips!
