This past Friday evening, Amy and Kierstyn were invited to attend the Midwest Home Design Awards and the night was nothing short of memorable! Interior Impressions received five awards, each in separate design categories. We couldn’t be more humbled, proud and teary-eyed knowing how hard our design team works to bring incredible designs to the table. To be recognized for all of the hard work is the cherry on top of 2021!
The awards
1. Wall Treatment – first Place
The floor-to-ceiling foyer accent wall at our Grant Pastures project received 1st place in the wall treatment category! This Philip Jeffries wallpaper made out of wood veneer is one of our favorite details of this home and makes the entrance a true statement.
2. bathroom – second place
By far one of our favorite bathrooms to-date, this owners suite bathroom from our Forest Lake Remodel received 2nd place! This bathroom had a complete makeover from its original layout. After a whole new floorplan and the beautiful design details, this bathroom is a whole new space.
3. commercial bar/restaurant – second place
We’ve been so proud to partner with X-Golf for the past several years to help design its spaces in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Brookfield, Wisconsin location received 2nd place for the commercial bar/restaurant category!
4. contemporary interior design (more than one room) – second place
Back to Grant Pastures! We may be biased, but we are overjoyed that this home received more than one award as it’s so well deserving. From the kitchen, to the great room and beyond, each inch of this home is stunning.
5. commercial lobby – third place
We had the joy of designing Horton Orthodontics here in Woodbury, MN. We love that this orthodontics office is inviting and cheerful for each patient who visits!
That’s a wrap – our five awards from the Midwest Home Design Awards! We are still over the moon and will be for weeks to come. It’s such a wonderful way to wrap up a year of that was full of long hours, hard work and busy schedules. We are just plain honored. Thank you to Midwest Home Magazine for such an incredible evening!
