Our design team – Amy, Kierstyn and Haley – had an incredible weekend at this year’s Highpoint Market in North Carolina. The weekend was filled with joy, ignited inspiration, brought meet-and-greets with the best in the industry and, of course, some shopping for our showroom. With all of the newness they saw, they just had to share their favorites from Market with you all.
AMY’S FAVORITES
– Loloi – the Gaia Rug. This is one of my favorite rugs from market! I actually bought one for my front entryway. I love that it looks vintage but it is actually super soft and made from polyurethane. It’s not very expensive so I won’t feel bad if I change it out in a year or two. I love the pattern and the soft colors. It incorporates some of the cinnamon rust color am loving right now, as well as some blues and warm tan and cream. It goes with just about every color scheme in a house.
– The Park City Collection designed by Barclay Butera for Lexington furniture – The collection comes in two finishes – a deep chocolate wood tone (my favorite), or a cream colored wood finish which is also beautiful. I love the modern mountain vibe of this whole collection. It brings a sense of warmth without feeling heavy. These etagere bookshelves are great because they have built in recessed lighting, a lovely mixture of glass and wood, and work well in just about any space. They’d be gorgeous in a living room, bedroom, den or home office space!
– Leftbank Art – “In The Sky” – I see so many different things in this artwork. It reminds me of looking down at a beautiful landscape with water on my way to a special vacation getaway. Looking at it brings me a sense of calm. I love the color palette in this piece also because it incorporates both cool and warm colors and would work with so many different home decor color schemes. It can be customized with your choice of frame and comes in several sizes as well.
– Rowe – Juliet Chair – I love the stylish curves and metal accents on the Juliet chair. It’s also extremely comfortable. This can be customized in any fabric, which can give it so many different looks.
Kierstyn’s Favorites
– Loloi x Amber Lewis Collaboration – Georgie Rug in Moss / Salmon. So excited about this collaboration! The pattern and colors in this rug are just so good, I had to get one for myself.
– Rowe/Robin Bruce – Brandford Slipcover Chaise Lounge. This chaise lounge is so cozy! I love the casual slipcover look, and seriously– once you sit in it you won’t want to get up.
– Hudson Valley Lighting – Dorset Wall Sconce. I am SO here for the pleated shade craze! I love the combination of brass and leather paired with the pleated shade in this wall sconce.
– Global Views – Marguerite Chair. I love a quirky, vintage inspired piece. This chair feels like it belongs in an old English countryside home, and I love it!
– Rowe/Robin Bruce – Grove Cocktail Table. I am obsessed with the oversized scale of this cocktail table, the dark stained wood and sleek lines.
HALEY’S FAVORITES
– Essentials for Living- Bridge Dining Table- The white wash reclaimed pine wood table is absolutely stunning! I love the natural characteristics that this table gives!
– Cyan Design- Presidio Chair- This upholstered grey chair with a black solid wood finish is perfect for a contemporary or transitional aesthetic. This accent chair fits perfectly in a living room setting as well as in a master bedroom corner. Can be used for a great reading chair! I love the simplicity of this chair!
– Four Hands- Bingham Console Table- This piece offers an organic statement piece with the wide proportions, distressed iron tops and the rustic base. Very unique piece! Love!
– Jaipur – Poetry By Pollack Collection POP03 – This rug offers a light, tonal gray and ivory colorway that includes neutral hues and versatility. This heirloom rug offers a stunning dimension and hand details that would work perfectly in a dining or living room setting. Love the neutral and patterned rug!
– Mercana- Stamford Stool- This Stamford counter stool is a stylish fabric wrapped chair with a matte black toned metal frame. I love the detail and texture the upholstered cushion gives!
