Welcome back to our Meet the Team Series! This week we’re hearing from our business manager and Hunter Douglas specialist, Danielle Philippon. She is the glue that keeps our business running smoothly behind the scenes, and we’re so lucky to have her as a part of the team. Everyone, meet Danielle!
1. WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY?
I’m the Buiness Manager & Hunter Douglas Specialist for Interior Impressions and our sister company, Woodbury Blinds.
2. WHAT ARE THREE WORDS THAT WOULD DESCRIBE YOU?
Fun, competitive and outgoing.
3. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
There is never a typical day! I learn something new every day. From connecting with all of our vendors, problem solving, and keeping everything organized my days are always different!
4. WHAT ARE THREE HABITS THAT YOU HAVE THAT YOU ATTRIBUTE TO YOUR SUCCESS?
1. Being organized.
2. Providing great customer service.
3. Being able to multi-task.
4. wHAT WAS YOUR PATH TO WORKING AT iNTERIOR iMPRESSIONS?
I worked in the restaurant service industry for years. I realized that I wanted a change of pace, and through a mutual friend I met Amy. I decided working at Interior Impressions was the perfect change of pace for me.
6. WHAT’S A GOAL YOU HAVE FOR YOURSELF THAT YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE NEXT YEAR?
I look forward to growing our Woodbury Blinds business! It’s been the baby sister to Interior Impressions, and we are really trying to push this newer part of our company forward.
7. WHO IS SOMEONE YOU ADMIRE AND WHY?
My grandmother. She was such a strong, smart, loving person. She helped me become who I am today.
8. WHAT ARE YOU HAPPIEST DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
Outside of work, I love to spend my time traveling, camping, fishing, golfing, anything outside. I love making memories with my family and friends.
9. WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELf?
Life is short, enjoy every day!
10. HOW DO YOU WANT TO BE REMEMBERED?
That I did my best and had fun doing it!
