Although it is nearly a month away, we all want things to look forward to. Valentine’s Day is a day to show love and appreciation. Since Valentine’s Day is looking different this year, here are some fun, safe ways to celebrate:
VIRTUAL COCKTAIL MAKING CLASS
This is a great option for including your special someone and friends. With this virtual cocktail making class, you get a cocktail kit delivered to your door prior to the Cocktail Show. Bartending By Drew holds virtual classes for the Twin Cities area.
VIRTUAL COOKING CLASS
If you have more time on your hands this Valentine’s Day and love to cook, Cooks of Crocus Hill offers frequent virtual classes. This Valentine’s Day, they are offering three different classes: brunch, surprise dinner, and a soiree with apps. Take your pick! Find the surprise dinner class here.
VISIT A LOCAL RESTAURANT
The restaurant restrictions have recently lifted in Minnesota and limited seating is available. However, if you are still cautious and feel more comfortable dining outside, there are several restaurants in the Twin Cities offering outdoor seating with heaters, open tents, etc. A favorite restaurant of ours is Italian Eatery, offering indoor and outdoor seating, small group reservations, and also offering take-home meal kits for events at home. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
VIRTUAL ESCAPE ROOM
Want an interactive date? Support your local escape room company, Trapped Puzzle Rooms, and purchase their virtual escape room package for an awesome Valentine’s date night. If you’d prefer in person, they are now open with limited capacity, so book now!
A few other ideas not on the list:
- Bake cookies to drop off to your favorite humans. Here is a favorite cookie recipe of ours: Salted Caramel Pretzel Snickerdoodles by Half Baked Harvest
- Fondue – Chocolate & cheese. Fondue on Valentine’s Day is a family tradition of mine. You need to purchase a fountain for full effect, and the kids will love it!
Whatever you decide, we hope you enjoy the holiday!
